Each percentage of each color of a blend makes up a loading rate for each custom blend.  The loading rate would be the percentage of color you would use for a batch of concrete. The pigment only sticks to the binder in your concrete batch, therefore, calculating the amount of custom color you would need would be based on the custom color loading rate X the amount of cementitous binder only, not the total amount of your concrete batch.
